Tulsa Continues Home Stretch with Arkansas Wolves on Saturday

CLAREMORE, Okla. – Tulsa Athletic plays the second of three straight home games on Saturday, June 24 against Arkansas Wolves at Soldier Field on the campus of Rogers State University. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. 

Tickets are only $5.

For Tulsa fans that can’t make it out to Claremore, a watch party is happening at Heirloom Rustic Ales. All ages are welcome.

The green and yellow opened their home stretch with a come from behind 2-1 win over OKC 1889 FC last Saturday to regain first place in the Heartland Conference. Luis Flores scored his first goal to even the score late before Aaron Ugbah tallied the game winner in the 90th minute to give Tulsa all three points.

Tulsa Athletic enters Saturday’s contest with a 4-1-2 record and 14 points in the Heartland Conference table. OKC is 4-2-1 for 13 points. Kansas City Sol sits at 12 points at 3-1-3. In the fourth and final playoff spot for the Heartland Conference ranks Demize NPSL with nine points and a 2-2-3 record.

Arkansas Wolves are currently 1-5-1, however, their one victory is over OKC, the second place team in the current Heartland Conference standings. The Wolves most recently played against Reign on Wednesday in a 1-1 draw.

With only three contests left, Tulsa Athletic clinches a playoff spot by earning any points on Saturday. The top four teams in the Heartland Conference advance to the Heartland Conference playoffs.

After Saturday’s match, the green and yellow end the home stand on July 1 against Kansas City Sol at 7:30 p.m. A live video stream will be available.
