Tulsa Athletic hosts the Heartland Conference Champion on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. at Soldier Field on the campus of Rogers State University. The green and yellow take on OKC 1889 FC for the third time this season.

Tulsa Athletic advanced to the conference championship after a 2-0 win over Demize on Wednesday. Luis Flores finished with both goals in the final 13 minutes of the contest.
Tulsa and OKC were the top two clubs during the regular season. The green and yellow earned the conference shield with a 7-1-2 record and 23 points. OKC was right behind with a 7-2-1 record and 22 points.
Tulsa and OKC split their games during the regular season with each club winning at home. OKC used an early goal to win 1-0 in the contest in Oklahoma City, and Tulsa tallied two late goals to rally and win 2-1 over OKC in the second matchup in Claremore.
The contest is also a rematch of the 2022 Heartland Conference Championship when Tulsa won 5-1 at Hicks Park and earned their third straight Heartland Conference title.
The winner of Saturday’s championship advances to the Midwest Region semifinals.
