Brian McCurdy is in his fifth season as an assistant coach for Tulsa Athletic. McCurdy brings a wealth of collegiate and high school coaching experience to the club.

McCurdy also serves as an assistant coach for Oral Roberts University. Prior to his time at ORU, McCurdy was a volunteer assistant coach at his alma mater, the University of Tulsa in 2017.

He began his collegiate coaching career as the head coach of Bacone College for two seasons. In his second season in 2016, McCurdy posted a 9-6-1 record for the first winning season in 12 years for the Warriors.

Before his time at Bacone, McCurdy served as the head coach at Union High School and Bixby High School where he led the teams to the state playoffs in five of the six seasons.

McCurdy was a four-year letterwinner at Tulsa, helping the Golden Hurricane to a 2007 Conference USA Championship. His 2004 team advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight before falling to eventual national champion Indiana. McCurdy started in 53 of 66 career games, totaling two goals and five assists in the midfield.

McCurdy earned his bachelors degree in communications from Tulsa, and he has a USSF National D License.
