Oklahoma City – Tulsa Athletic and Oklahoma City 1889 FC played to a 1-1 draw on Wednesday (June 19) at Brian Harvey Stadium at Oklahoma City University in the only road game of the summer for the green and yellow.

With a 2-1 win over OKC a week ago in Tulsa, the green and yellow take the season series with a 3-2 score on aggregate.

Tulsa Athletic went up 1-0 in the 25th minute when Rio Mello scored on a penalty to the left corner of the goal.

OKC responded later when familiar name Abou Diallo scored on a header off a corner kick for a 1-1 tie.

The green and yellow had some opportunities in the second half, but couldn’t convert as the score remained at 1-1 after 90 minutes.

Tulsa Athletic returns home for the final two games of the 2024 Summer schedule at Hicks Park. The green and yellow play host to Little Rock Rangers on Saturday at 6 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase online. A live video stream will be available.
