TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa Athletic added Jean-Pierre Dasylva as a striker for the 2019 season as he is the 17th announced player for the upcoming campaign.
“Jean-Pierre adds another scoring threat to the team to go along with the other forwards we have coming this year,” GM of Tulsa Athletic Dan DeVore said. “Jean-Pierre showed he can find the back of the net at Cloud County where he scored 10 goals in the fall. We are excited for him to add more scoring to our lineup. He will be another exciting player to watch this season.”
Dasylva joins Tulsa Athletic after completing his freshman season at Cloud County Community College where he led the T-Birds to a 13-5-1 record and a 10-1-1 mark in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC).
Dasylva was named the KJCCC Western Division Offensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Region for NJCAA Division VI. For the year, he tallied 10 goals and seven assists for 27 points. The striker totaled a brace with two goals, including the game winner, in a 4-2 victory over Dodge City. He registered four game-winning goals during the season. Dasylva started in 18 contests and appeared in all 19 matches during his first collegiate season.
