TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa Athletic announced its 2021 NPSL regular season schedule with 10 matches on the slate as Tulsa Athletic returns to action for the first time since 2019 when the green and yellow won the Heartland Conference championship.
The five-match home schedule includes four Sunday contests and one Saturday match. For the third straight season, all five home matches will be played at Veterans Park in midtown Tulsa with 2 p.m. start times.
The revamped Heartland Conference includes three new clubs: Arkansas Wolves (Little Rock, Arkansas), OKC 1889 (Norman, Oklahoma) and Reign FK (Bartlesville, Oklahoma). The three join returning clubs Dallas City FC, Demize NPSL and Tulsa to form the six-club league.
“We are thrilled to release the 2021 Heartland Conference schedule after not having a chance to play a season a year ago,” Daniel DeVore, GM of Tulsa Athletic, said. “The club is looking to continue its momentum after a conference championship season in 2019, and we can’t wait to show our fans another season of high quality NPSL soccer with a fan friendly and unique atmosphere at the Veterans Park.”
