
TULSA – Tulsa Athletic begins their 2025 season on Saturday, May 10 when the green and yellow play host to rival Oklahoma City 1889 FC at 7:30 p.m. at Athletic Community Field at Hicks Park.
The 2025 season is the first for Tulsa Athletic in the new The League for Clubs, which was launched in August 2024. Tulsa Athletic is a founding member of The League along with four other clubs: FC Davis, Napa Valley 1839 FC, Kingston Stockade and Atlantic City FC. For the 2025 season, more than 50 clubs will compete in four regions.
Tulsa Athletic plays in the 13-club Central Region in the Mid-American Conference with Oklahoma City 1889 FC, FC Wichita and Union Kansas City. The four clubs will play a 10-game regular season.
Tulsa Athletic is 8-2-0 all-time against Oklahoma City 1889 FC.
The green and yellow return a strong core of players along with newcomers from around the world. Head Coach John Woodhead is back for his second season and third season on the technical staff.
Tulsa Athletic go on the road next weekend at FC Wichita on Saturday, May 17 in Wichita, Kansas.
Tulsa Athletic’s five-game home schedule also includes home contests on May 24, June 11, June 14 and June 28. All five home games will be played at Athletic Community Field at Hicks Park.
