TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa Athletic returns home to take on Club Atletico Saint Louis in a Heartland Conference contest presented by Tulsa Recycles.com on Sunday (June 2) at 2 p.m. at Case Soccer Complex.

 

Tulsa Athletic (2-0-2) currently leads the Heartland Conference table with eight points after four contests this season. The green and yellow is unbeaten this season with two wins and two draws.

 

The club played to a 2-2 draw at FC Wichita in their last contest in Wichita, Kansas. Santiago Riveros scored the game-tying goal right after FC Wichita took a 2-1 edge late in the contest. Joe Garcia tallied a first-half goal to put Tulsa Athletic up early in the match.

 

Tulsa Athletic is 2-0-1 this season in Tulsa with wins over 2018 Heartland Conference champion Little Rock Rangers and Ozark FC.

 

Aboubakr Diallo paces the club with three goals this season. Joe Ruiz, Alex Harris, Junior Kazeem, Garcia and Riveros each add one goal in 2019 for the green and yellow.

 

Club Atletico Saint Louis ranks fifth in the Heartland Conference with one point after two contests. They started the season with a 1-1 draw against FC Wichita, but then fell 4-1 to Little Rock Rangers in their second match. Sunday’s contest is their first road contest of the 2019 season.

 

In Heartland Conference action, Tulsa Athletic and Club Atletico Saint Louis are tied 1-1 in the all-time series with each team winning at home in the 2018 season. Tulsa Athletic defeated Club Atletico Saint Louis, 2-1, last season at Veterans Park.
