TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa Athletic signed defender Nathan Ndomba for the 2019 season as he became the 15th announced player for the upcoming campaign.

“We are excited to have Nathan join us for the 2019 season,” GM of Tulsa Athletic Dan DeVore said. “Nathan comes from a winning program, and he made huge plays in key games during the fall for his junior college team. We expect him to help control the back line and provide support going forward as he is an offensive threat as well.”

Ndomba completed his freshman season at Iowa Lakes Community College in the fall where he helped the Lakers advance to the NJCAA Region XI Championship and finish with a 15-3-1 record. Iowa Lakes won the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) championship with a 9-1 record. Ndomba started in 15 contests during his first collegiate season, and he totaled two goals, including the game-winning tally against Dakota County Technical College. Ndomba added his other goal in a win over Indiana Hills Community College in the Region XI semifinals. The defender anchored a back line that posted five shutouts and allowed only 0.93 goals per game.
