PARKVILLE, Mo. – Tulsa Athletic continues a three-match road trip with a contest at Heartland Conference newcomer Kansas City Sol on Wednesday (May 31) at 6 p.m. at Park University. A live stream will be available.
The official watch party in Tulsa is at Heirloom Rustic Ales. The all-ages event will have giveaways from 5-6 p.m. Heirloom Rustic Ales beers will be served all night for only $5 and pizza is available for purchase.
The green and yellow are looking to get back on track after suffering their first loss of the season last Wednesday in Oklahoma City. OKC 1889 FC tallied a goal in the fourth minute and hung on for the 1-0 win.
For the season, Tulsa Athletic is 3-1-0 overall with nine points to tie for first in the conference with OKC 1889.
For the season, Abou Diallo leads the club in scoring in the NPSL season with five goals in only four matches. Diallo has totaled two goals in two matches this season. Aaron Ugbah adds a goal this season.
Kansas City Sol enters Wednesday’s match with a 0-1-1 record after only two matches. Kansas City started the season with a 2-2 draw against Demize NPSL at home, and traveled to Reign FK last weekend and fell 3-2 in Bartlesville. Anthony Rangel has scored a team-high two goals in two matches.
