TULSA – Tulsa Athletic extended their UPSL regular season winning streak to six with a 2-0 victory over Little Rock Rangers Academy U20 on Saturday (Nov. 2) in UPSL action at Athletic Community Field at Hicks Park.
With the win, the green and yellow moved to 7-0-1 on the season in UPSL OK – AR Conference action.
Mitch Cashion opened the scoring in the contest when he scored on a penalty in the 28th minute of the first half. Tulsa Athletic was awarded the penalty after a foul in the box.
The green and yellow held the 1-0 edge into halftime.
In the second half, Hieu Pham curled in a corner kick for a goal in the 54th minute, upping the lead for Tulsa Athletic to 2-0.
Logan Campbell earned the shutout victory in goal, going the full 90 minutes. The shutout was the third shutout for the green and yellow and the five total shutout during the fall season.
Tulsa Athletic is back in action on Sunday, Nov. 10 at Arkansas Comets at 2 p.m. at Randall Tyson Recreational Complex in Springdale, Arkansas.
