Ugbah Finishes with First Career Hat Trick in 5-0 Win over Side FC 92

TULSA – Aaron Ugbah finished with his first career hat trick in the green and yellow as Tulsa Athletic won 5-0 over Side FC 92 on Wednesday (Sept. 18) at Athletic Community Field at Hicks Park. 

Tulsa Athletic moved to 2-1-0 on the season and 2-0-0 at Hicks Park in the fall UPSL season. 

Ugbah tallied goals in the eighth, 62nd and 76th minutes to total three goals for the hat trick, his first in his career for Tulsa Athletic. Ugbah first appeared for the club in 2018. 

Ugbah started the game with a goal in the eighth minute after a long pass from Jacob Zamarron with a slight touch from KB Harris. Tulsa Athletic led early 1-0 after the Ugbah goal. 

The green and yellow added two more goals in the first half in 10 minutes to take a 3-0 advantage into halftime. 

Ugbah scored his second goal on a strike to the near post in the 62nd minute to up the score to 4-0 in the second half. 

Ugbah blasted another goal in the 76th minute to put the green and yellow ahead 5-0. 

Captain Bryson Reed finished with the shutout in goal, going the full 90 minutes. 

Tulsa Athletic plays host to Arkansas Comets on Saturday (Sept. 21) at 7 p.m. at Athletic Community Field at Hicks Park. Tickets are available online, and a live video stream will be available.
